If they are places of worship, why does China destroy them? Why does the PSB photograph worshipper ...

"Why are foreign Christians who try to spread the word of the Bible arrested and deported? "
Interesting point!  The law forbids spreading religions on social visit passes, which are meant for tourism, not evangelism!  Many were caught smuggling Bibles in to spread Christianity, contravening the terms of their visa!  Yes, they are deported, and rightly so!  Only a small number were caught however, many went on to spread Christianity in rural areas where rural folks are awed by the visit of whitemen carrying the message of god and salvation; for those in abject poverty, and often ignored by heir richer compatriots, these men of god are most welcomed although the villagers know nothing about Christianity!  And many came to China ostensibly to teach English, but ended up spreading their religion instead!  That also is against the law.  Don't cry for them if someday they were caught and deported; they deserve it!

I'd arrest and deport each and every one abusing their visas.

" Foreign teachers are ordered to change the subject quickly, and/or explain that Christmas is about the exchanging of gifts, only.  They are warned NOT to talk about religion. Oh, yeah ... China has "Freedom of Religion", all right."

Go read the rules foreign teachers agree to when the take on teaching jobs in China; one basic rule is that they are not to talk religion!  So, what you said is not unusual, it is merely conforming to the rules!  They are free to choose whether to accept that rule, but must accept if they want the job, can't blame the Chinese authorities for enforcing their law, can you?

And isn't it great that so many monks worshipping in the temples have been appointed by the Chines ...

"And many people do indeed flock to pay these same monks."

That's another indication that they are free to choose where to worship, so no question of religious freedom in China!

China doesn't even bother with such pretexts. Since China doesn't have religious freedom so it can ...

"Since China doesn't have religious freedom so it can't use this pretext to begin with.

There are millions of Buddhists, Christians, Muslims etc, in China, and they are not harassed, why do you keep harping on the point that "China doesn't have religious freedom"?  Perhaps you want to pay a visit and see for yourself instead of shooting off in the dark?

Thanks for criticising the culture and religious worship in Thailand. What do you think that Thai  ...

"What do you think that Thai people could criticise about China ? Anything ?"

Perhaps they can't find anything to criticise?  Btw, I am not criticising all Thais, just the silly ones who choose to spend their youths praying for a place in heaven when they should be contributing to Thai economy; that can't be considered criticism!!  And I am not defending Chna, I am not behoden to it!
