(China Plus) A young Chinese couple has tied the knot at a ceremony high on the Tibetan Plateau, known as 'the roof of the world' in the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

[Photo: IC] Liu Ting and her soldier boyfriend Guo Jiawei started dating in 2015 and decided to marry in August last year. They had planned to hold a wedding ceremony in January this year, but Guo Jiawei's unit was shifted to the Khampa Plateau, which is 4,000 meters above sea level.
