Regarding, the Chinese national and U.S. legal permanent residents; we thank him for making Chinese aware that the US is not a place for them.  Do not go there, or get the hell out of there before you're the next victim...

Scare tactics!  There are millions of legal PRs in US who don't get into trouble and live happily there!  This man stole secrets from his employer!!  What do you expect?

That's our problem,
  go and mind your own...

Based on your commentary, it is you who should go, and that's 50 years back.

China is integrated to rest of the world now, and China's leadership only wants to take that further.

OP shows one particular dimension in which China is integrated with other societies. Chinese individuals go to work to other countries, and (most of the time) not as refugees escaping a dictatorship, but as global citizens like everyone else. They have the choice to stay or return as they wish. This was not always the case.

This puts China and the Chinese people on the world map, and with it comes certain responsibilities not only to her own citizens, but toward that world.

Even if you would rather live in the past, do not take rest of the Chinese with you.

  Perhaps you let the Chinese handle their own affairs...
And you worry about your own

   I don't;
I simply advise locals to use their common sense and spend their holidays in a more steadfast Country...
   Send their kids to a local Uni or again to a more steadfast Country...
Buy your property at home and forget uncle Sam's tax...
   Purchase local made stuff like cars etc...
List your stock at a local bourse to avoid ZTE attack...

Yeah, erect Fortress China!  Don't learn from Trump, the liar in the White House; his Make America Great Again has made Americans suffer like hell, and make the world wary of dealing with America!
