As China's share of international involvement grows, it is imperative that China ensures that its people at least its officials behave in a professional manner.

How is it possible that China convinces that working with China will bring about greater good if its behavior when vested with power shows that it bullies? For example in some reports on the recent APEC, it was reported that the Chinese officials acted quite unruly when they needed to put forward their views but was refused. This shows disrespect for others. Does one when they have money can act as they wish, like US?

As China moves internationally good human values need to be upheld and be placed above monetary values. Given that this is the basic FORMAL EDUCATION in most countries in this world, it follows that if China can exhibit such values and disposition together with its economic clout it will stand more ready to be received by others.

Yes, there could be situations that were designed in such way to hinder and disadvantage China. But these are not reasons good enough to lower China's human values. Even if China loses in some political tussle in the international arena, it is vital to uphold the human values. There is always another day to win a political tussle. However to achieve excellent human values one needs to practice it every day and then influence others to do the same. Its a heavy obligation but one that's meaningful and will eventually propel China to the forefront when China possesses high human values backed by other power.

Winning and losing are part and parcel of life. One cannot win every time. Losing occasionally is no shame. It is just a message that we can be better and then we try to be better the next time by acting within good human values. Good human values should be the guide and the parameter in our acts.

You brought up a good point and all Chinese must take note. However, there are cases where certain western media would give a negative spin on certain actions by Chinese. This happens very often and in this case, there should be more evidence and detail before believing the report. Certain media do not play fair and provide bias report against China by abusing their "freedom of the press".

You are spot-on.

Western media is chronically biased against entities that have the potential to upend their dominance of agendas.

It behooves the Chinese and anyone else to push back against bias and attempts at muting their voices in the arena of international politics when high-stakes affairs are usually at issue.

A couple of years before, an unruly US president crashed a meeting of BRIC countries in Davos, and forcibly demanded them to involve the US in a deal made among the largest developing countries. No western media reports rebuked the behavior as rude, and domineering, because they are a hypocritical lot and have qualms about stretching the truth.

Believe it or not, it's true.

I've only had the pleasure of meeting Chinese students here in Canada and they are really showing off the good side of China.
Polite, respectful, and friendly.

Maybe the politicians can learn from the students.
