For a long time we had politicians from the two major blocs trying to sound or appear to  different basic values from each other to appeal to voters (even though they were basically the same). Now we have politicians from both major blocs trying to sound as if they all hold the same basic values to try and pull down those from their own party who are changing the status quo! Something has rocked their long established, smooth running gravy train.

For a long time until recently, there was just one political establishment, with one agenda in most democracies with the illusion of two major parties or blocs. Their members worked hard at trying to appear and sound different from each other and appealing to people artificially divided into a right and left. It was well understood that if the people got tired or frustrated with one government, they had the option to juggle and elect the supposed 'other'. Only effective choice was between the two fakes. Corruption become endemic and has probably peaked.

Now that true anti-establishment, nationalist and more honest opposition has cropped up from within the system and even got elected to power, suddenly we have the opposite effect - the supporters of the establishment from within both blocs trying to appeal to voters by trying to sound and appear as if they hold  the same basic values!! Most are trying hard to appear different from people in their own party or bloc! This truly warrants thinking deeply about the root causes. This has happened in India, the USA, the UK, the Philippines..And spreading around to more places.

Political terms, whether it is "democracy", "communism", "socialism"...etc. are just a "dressing" to mask authoritarian rule. There is no escape from authoritarian control because it is human in nature. Therefore I have always emphasised good governance, regardless of political ideology.

No, your current political system has been formed by history and reality that must be fit for the nation's concrete situation!
Everyone should respect some political principle or we will make fatal mistake!
All of our writings should go with zero error!

Yes, but we must also be aware of its flaws. There is no perfect system. What is happening in China is that Communism has evolved in China because the CPC has seen the flaws and put in policies that overcome the flaws--opening up and reform of China is one main good example of the policies. This is a continuous event and CPC is still encouraging reforms through changes in policies.

In addition to my previous comment above:

That is what makes a good government.
