It was a limited life in 1987 during 3 days or 2 days if sunday is not next to the festival. There was a jokes often told by our Chinese friends that "what you will you do during the holiday? The reply was " washing cloths and buy vegetable".I enjoyed only guoqing largest parade in Tian an men square in 1984.It was something great for us.So much organised soldiers and others from the society march on chang an jie for two and half hour time.It was an amazing event one cannot forget. In 1987 me and my wife ( passed away last year) went to the square and passed some time with friends. Each year we went there and pass time talking peoples coming from other part of China.I enjoyed life in China.
