All you hear is someone apologizing after doing something bad to either the country or the people.

That means they've had the chance to do something bad to Chinese citizens.

Does China or her people ever had the chance to do something bad to others -- enough for others to demand an apology from us?

Not so far.

It maybe that the time is ripe that we can start doing something uncomfortable for outsiders for a change.

It would be the sweetest demand we can hear:

Apologize!

The old pensioners were not detained for merely watching BBC documentary, they were watching terrorist propaganda videos.

Foreign teacher raped in the classroom? It did happen, but not in China. It was in the US. Tragically, the teacher was raped, and knifed to death by her student.
Believe it or not, it's true.

What they watched had nothing to do with Gengis Khan, it was a video filmed by terrorists preaching violence against civilians.

The old couple were treated well, and released shortly afterwards, though they were supposed to be in police custody for a much longer period of time.
Believe it or not, it's true.

Filter....

No it was not a video filmed by terrorists. A BBC documentary about gengis Khan was mistakingly thought as terrorist material by a Junior officer. They were detained for a week, And only released after they realized the jnr official had made a mistake...
