It is noted that, afraid of “losing face” for the American Empire, no US official under all previous administrations has ever shamefully accused any country, not even the former mighty Soviet Union, of bullying America.  Under Trump, however, America seems to be sliding all the way downhill.  US Ambassador to China Terry Branstad recently accused China of bullying America.  Isn't it laughable?

Trump has vowed to "Make America Great Again" in his election campaigns.  Instead he seems to have made America smaller than ever.  Is there hope left for America under the Trump administration?

Well, China is likewise accusing America of behaving like an economic bully in the current trade war.

It's more like a war of words.

I agree with you, however, that whoever is calling the other party a 'bully' is diminishing its own status.

Why not just take Bruce Lee's sticks out and hit the other guy right on his numskull?

Accusing China of being a bully is laughable.
The greed of the rich corporate owners of America lead them to drastically increase imports
from China and send manufacturing overseas. The average America was powerless to stop
this and they enjoyed quality goods at a reduced price. This lead to a shift from production
and manufacturing in America to the service industries.

The barn door was opened decades ago and the horses are long gone.
Cowboy Trump cannot hope to gather even a small portion back.
Tariffs are not even a band-aid to stop the bleeding.
Lay the blame where it belongs, with rich corporate America and their greed.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

Well said.  US accusation against China is just like a wolf accusing a calf of being a bully, while salivating at the thought of having delicious tender beef for dinner.

China is an economic bully. China doesn’t use sanctions but mundane bureaucratic tools that attract no international or US criticism. Like when South Korea agreed to install the THAAD missile defense system.
The Lotte group that provided the land for the missile batteries has since shuttered stores in China after being hit with so-called ‘fire safety’ violations. Lotte recently announced it may sell all its stores in China. Chinese tour groups have mysteriously stopped coming to South Korea, and Hyundai motors has had ‘trouble’ with its local Chinese partner with sales dropping precipitously. Many other South Korean companies have been hit, along with the South Korean economy.
This
is Beijing’s  modus operandi – using commercial intimidation to get its way on political and security issues.
We’ve seen this before. After the Scarborough Shoal, South China Sea,  dispute with the Philippines in 2012, China halted banana imports from the Philippines owing to sudden ‘health’ concerns.
And in 2010 when the Japanese Coast Guard seized a Chinese fishing boat that rammed a coast guard vessel near the Senkaku islands, China cut off exports of rare-earth minerals to Japan (and the US and EU).

So get off your high horse.
