Street in China's language is spelled as Ma Lu, meaning road for horses, so why is it so surprising a horse runs on a road for it? In Dalian City, there are also mounted state troopers (horse-riding policewomen), I am OK with that too.

That woman riding was seen on CCTV, booked by police for breaking the law; playing around with the word 'ma lu' doesn't  make her action right.  Dalian policewomen are working, not trotting around as if she owns the road, putting other road users in danger!  I support police action against her!

I won't condone horse-riding on public road.  Just because roads in China are called ma lu,( that is an ancient term since there were no cars then,) does not mean it is safe for anyone to ride horse on roads meant for cars, even though they are called ma lu!
