Is this for real, simply brewing in the pipeline, or still on the drawing board?

I haven't heard  ...

It'll be real enough when the time is ready...

In the meantime,  On Wednesday, Turkey doubled tariffs on US imports like, cars, alcohol and tobacco...

That would be a big chunk of profit being torn put of iPhone

China would be very stupid to do this; would just accelerate all US companies leaving China which is exact;y what the US government wants. They want everyone to leave CHina. CCP taking it out on American corps would make it impossible for them to stay and guarantee the destruction of China's processing trade for western corporations; which is 46% of its overall trade.

Please help us kill HALF of your trade make you lose tens of millions of jobs by going after US corps in China! Either way we get what we want.

To be honest even if China doesn't go after them US is going to make China more and more unappealing for western companies until it is blacklisted. So doesn't matter long term.

The US is prepared to give China a taste of its on bad medicine. They say they are a developing country and they also say they are the worlds largest economy. You can't have it both ways. In the meantime it cheats on trade via currency manipulation, imposes tariffs (but screams bloody murder when the US retaliates), it heavily subsidized certain industries, something that is against the rules of the World Trade Organization, which China joined in 2001. However, the No. 1 problem is the theft of US business secrets and technology by Chinese companies.

This is what should be done:
- Stop letting China invest in the U.S. unless it makes it easier for U.S. companies to set up in China
- Deny China access to the U.S. banking system and/or U.S. stock market
- Put sanctions on companies that have stolen U.S. technology
- Refuse to give Chinese patents protection in the U.S. until China honors American patents there
- Cut off scientific and other cooperation with China
- Bring more World Trade Organization cases against China
- Form a coalition with Europe and Japan to push back

No need to go to such extent!
Just lower currency of China, it will increase exports and draw more foreign revenue.
Let US shoppers pay for the same thing but less. Soon, US companies will not produce because it is less expensive to import from China. Then, US factories will fold. US workers will fish by the ponds and watch the sun set. Good time for US!
Soon, there is nothing left for US!

Of course that would just be the beginning.

That means China has revealed only the tip of the icebe ...

Let US Trump wins!
Let US Trump trip heels over head!
The hole was dug by hands of US Trump himself with full dignity!
Unfortunately, there will be no one to cover the hole he will fall with earth to cover it up!
