No, this is not like saying Hindus and Buddhists must eat pork in Chinese restaurants. It's saying ...

You didn’t get my point.

That actually happened to me when I was living in multicultural California. Whenever I take my Indian or Arab friends to a Chinese restaurant, I had to ask THEM if they’re alright with dishes with beef or pork. Otherwise, it would turn into an awkward situation because they couldn’t eat ANY of the dishes containing beef or pork. And Chinese cuisine uses meat such as beef or pork in a LOT of dishes, not as the entree but as an ingredient.

So what you’re suggesting is that since they are guests of mine in a Chinese restaurant, it’s their responsibility to learn, accept and adopt the culinary culture of Chinese people instead of me as the host to learn, accept and adapt to their culinary culture by offering them dishes without any meat.

You must have had a hugely traumatizing experience in California courtesy of these ungrateful imm ...

And an even better example: do you think Hindus should learn how to eat hamburgers just because they live in the USA? Would you consider their culinary culture to be “undeveloped” until and unless they adopt the world renowned US cuisine from McDonalds? Since the USA is a “developed” country, should everyone learn how to cook hamburgers so they can be called “developed”?

Oh dear, oh dear, you are still suffering from your life-changing experiences in California! Or we ...

Are you that ignorant of the culinary culture of Hindus? I didn’t say “Indians”; that’s your way of grasping at straws.
