Now that Trump has officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the issues in the Middle East can be more easily resolved. It was the rejection of this fact that made peace impossible. Now, both sides can discuss how to live together in peace and in harmony.|
For his part, Trump has saved America from being subverted by forces that sought to forestall his recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. They were going after him by hook or by crook. He was one step ahead of them, and they have lost all reason to try to remove him, henceforth.
Notice the source of the Dossier, British, the media opposing his candidacy and interfering with the US election was British, and even recently, the open attack by May on Trump for calling to attention the atrocities of radical Islamic terrorists, again British. By rejecting the "guidance" of the UK on the matters of Israel, Crimea, and Korea, Trump has saved thousands of lives that would otherwise have been lost in futile military operations. Trump has made an indelible mark on world history, whatever else he does from here on. This is the turning point. The true Pivot was not in Asia, but in Jerusalem. When the focus is right, the entire perspective is clear.
It is time for Trump and Kim to sit down and talk. Just talk. Before any hostilities, just talk. If talking buys time for peace, and saves millions of lives, it would be a sin to refuse to talk. Kim should likewise repent of his intransigence, and sit down and talk with Trump. Only by talking with each other can the real, hard, important issues be resolved.
War is a dead end street. Nobody comes out of it a real winner. A victor, maybe, but a winner, not really.
