"more "opening up" would further improve things"

Ironically, now is the turn China is urging the west to be more open up. You see, China had been asking the west for high tech helps, but the west had been reluctant and even keep the technology embargo on China. Fortunately, pround of the Chinese talents who had devoted to the country and now China has many high tech stuffs all by her own efforts. As Mao said" Keep sanction on us for several more decades, then we will have everything". And his words did fulfill.
So do you think the west also need to be more "opening up" too?

Certain countries (namely US?) may have purely technology embargos, but most of western countries only had (and continue to have) weapon embargo as result of China using military against its own people.

I fail to recognize that such technology embargo that you describe has ever been in place.

Foreign countries (save perhaps such as Russia or Turkey) do not require much more opening up in things that matter to regular citizens. Chinese going to those countries can continue to use their weixins or even increasingly alipays, while foreigners coming to China continue to face restrictions on things that they are accustomed.

Yet China is the one calling for inclusive and open world order. In real life, China is trailing far behind western countries in those aspects.

Not entirely - many of those leading engineers and scientists, albeit Chinese natonals, are foreign trained and indirectly even foreign funded. After all, China destroyed much of its own education system in not so distant future, all by itself.

Absolutely! I have lived in many other countries besides China and I can say that China is one of the safest countries, or at least has been so far.

Take a minute to see wot contents they have and why they are banned in China

There must be a reason if something got banned. Porno, anti-govt, violence etc..
All countries would ban contents that go against the govt.. Tell you wot, all Chinese speeches and videos by some Chinese scholars criticising the defects of U.S. political system got banned in the U.S..

That's not even true. Governments in western democracies are built so such anti-government content may destroy people in office, but not the governments. And even then, if such content would destroy some official's career, it usually has a good and valid reason to do so. It is an institutionalized anti-graft mechanism that Chinese public can only dream of.

But of course I understand that China's system of governance is built on weaker soil and it needs to protect itself.

In current events for example, China has banned reporters (domestic and foreign) from openly covering the details of landslide disaster in Sichuan. That's not porno, or anti-government, or violence. It is simply hiding facts from the public, before anyone even gets ideas of protesting against local or state government. China's red tape is initiated too early in comparison to US or elsewhere.

To elaborate the pointt, it is only by degree better than simply killing everyone at birth so they wouldn't have chance to do anything stupid.

Yeah, maybe she should have included South Africa.

“Also crime is vastly underreported in China”
Have you got any prove of your statement?
Human lives mean nothing when the western warmongers see a bigger gain through war
