People often give kids red envelops before they get a job or become an adult when they don't know how to manage big amount of money. And the parents have to give back the money to other kids, so I think parents can take charge of it. My mother usually give limited money to me as pocket money, and save the rest of others as my tuition fee.

I guess most children including me would receive 'yasuiqian' because of their parents cause red pocket usually come from your relatives ..

Good suggestion. Giving red envelopes to minors only teaches them to worship money!!
if you want something in life get off your backside, and do it yourself!! don't rely on others to do it for you
