Oscar Wilde summarized the triumph of the Press over the rest of society with the following statement: "In old days men had the rack. Now they have the Press. That is an improvement certainly. But still it is very bad, and wrong, and demoralizing. Somebody — was it Burke? — called journalism the fourth estate. That was true at the time no doubt. But at the present moment it is the only estate. It has eaten up the other three. The Lords Temporal say nothing, the Lords Spiritual have nothing to say, and the House of Commons has nothing to say and says it. We are dominated by Journalism."

A TRUMPIAN DEFINITION OF NEWS -- NEWS IS WHAT TWO OR THREE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS, FRIENDS OR FAMILY TELLS YOU IS HAPPENING NOW SOMEWHERE -- IT IS NOT WHAT YOUR NEWSCASTER TELLS YOU BY LOOKING INTO THE CAMERA, THAT'S JUST AN OPINION OR AN ADVERTISEMENT.

Chances are overwhelming that any voter who cares to ask someone they meet whom they would vote for, that 1 out 2 would say they'd vote for Trump.

And this is what a respected poll, the Rasmussen Poll, has been showing.  The fact that it is not mentioned by the mainstream media in spite of its being a mainstream poll tells you what you can see for yourself, the Press is censoring the REAL NEWS.

"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online White House Watch survey of Likely U.S. Voters shows the Democratic nominee with 43% support to Donald Trump’s 40%. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson picks up eight percent (8%) of the vote, while Green Party nominee Jill Stein trails with two percent (2%). Four percent (4%) like some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided," according to the Rasmussen Reports on their latest survey as of 8/11/16. (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/ ... 6/white_house_watch)

Contrary to the rest of the polls, Rasmussen's appear to have the greatest consistency, and should be watched carefully.

Currently, the gap between Clinton (43%) and Trump (40%) is a mere 3% difference, but since the two variables are dependent on each other, rather than independent of each other, i.e., a  +1% for Trump may equal a -1% for Clinton, and vice versa, the true gap may be as little at 1.5% or as large as 3%, assuming Johnson and Stein maintain their shares of the votes.  Sooner or later, the supporters of the latter two candidates will have to decide on either voting for Trump or voting for Clinton, or not vote at all.  These are the swing votes now under the control of these two other candidates, which can neutralize any last minute swing in the votes of the undecideds.

BETTER THAN THE NEWSCASTER ON THE TUBE TELLING HIS AUDIENCE WHAT HE THINKS OF TRUMP, TRUMP SUPPORTERS SHOULD REALIZE THEY HAVE "MISSIONARY WORK" TO DO, ON THEIR FEET, WITH THEIR OWN MOUTHS, TO TALK TO THEIR NEIGHBORS, FRIENDS AND FAMILY ABOUT WHY TRUMP IS THE PERSON WHO WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, WHY THEY WOULD VOTE FOR HIM, AND ABOVE ALL, WHY THEY WISH THOSE WHO ARE UNDECIDED YET, TO GIVE TRUMP A CHANCE.

IN SHORT, IT IS TIME TO WALK AND TO TALK.  WALKING IS GOOD FOR YOUR BODY.  TALKING IS GOOD FOR YOUR MIND.

There is never a free Press anywhere. The Press is like an instrument. Freedom of the Press is just an empty illusion only the ignorant believes. What matters is how the Press is being used -- for good or for bad.
