In the past decade or so most have read about China's construction prowess of infrastructure such as schools, hospitals, roads, rail roads, depots, airports, harbors etc. That's rough physical prowess.

But since then little have been heard about it. In fact nothing much on quality fine elements in application.

Not that China must continue to build if it is sufficient to meet demand already. But rather little is heard of how China puts its infrastructure into action, that will be the application/use of such infrastructure and their maintenance. Is there anyone constantly asking questions on these? Is there a will to push quality application of these assets?

Schools and hospitals are not much of a use if the education and medical quality and system are absent. Likewise roads, railways, airports and harbors cannot maximise their potential if the right application system isn't in place, the users are not inculcated with the right mind-set to make the best use of these assets etc. Continuous thoughts should be channelled into evaluating the application and maintenance of these facilities. In a way this is a mechanism that will help to change the way you live daily. When one does not assume work is done but continuously to strive for betterment and challenge to better what has been achieved yesterday, inevitably one's livelihood will improve over time. Its a culture that brings about great advantages whether domestic and foreign. For example instead of resting on laurels when nothing happened, probably due to luck, if questions are continued being asked, current status are continuously being challenged and explored over and over again if for example security measures are adequate, students are really learing, transportation is really efficient etc. in all these infrastructure, improvements will be made so that one continues to stay ahead to prevent accidents or untoward incidents instead of always tailing with hurried half-baked remedies (such as "we have taken measure to prevent future disasters....", usually failures assurance after accidents - i.e. the culture of no foresight etc) when undesirable events happen. This change of attitude is needed if China wants quality, creativity and with the vast number of schools, hospitals, roads, railways, airports and harbors, China has one single asset that can put it on the map to global quality.
