If historical claims had any validity then Mongolia could claim all of Asia simply because it once ...

Ha ha, you're funny. If you think the US has any right to be in east Asia that's your problem.

The US is the aggressor in east Asia. That should be obvious to anyone.. even you.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

Action speaks louder than words US lost the war in Vietnan, Iraqi, korea, Afghanistan and so on. US ...

The actual "war" part of Iraq and Afghanistan, the US won handily and incredibly quick.  The Vietnam War, again, every major military engagement was won by the US.  The aftermath (occupation, pacification, rebuilding) were unmitigated catastrophes because of just how differently wars are fought today.

To be certain, if the US fought any of the conflicts the way it did WWII -- complete annihilation of the nation, invasion with 10 million "Virginia boys", fire bombing of every city, destruction of every industry and perhaps a dropping of an atom bomb or two -- then there's simply no denying that those nations would have been ripe for rebuilding in the image of their destroyer.

There's something to be said for leaving your enemy so completely obliterated that like a gazelle in the teeth of a lion, they willing accept defeat as an end to the agony of enduring a continued conflict.  But no such thing happened in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.  For very ethical, logical reasons -- in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.  Most notably, the USA should have never been in Vietnam for so long; was fighting a civil war within the nation; and would not invade the North.  The US should have never invaded Iraq a second time and was -- again -- embroiled in a civil war in a less-than-vanquished people.  In the Afghanistan conflict, the US should have gone in, destroyed the Taliban for harboring terrorists and worked with those willing partners around the world to help rebuild that nation (had the US and Britain focused on Afghanistan and not Iraq, we'd all be singing a different tune. . . or at least most of us).

It's always easy to destroy, it's never so easy to rebuild.  Where Germany and Japan were industrialized nations, eager to return to their creature comforts of the aforementioned industrialization, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan were never so modern (with Iraq being the most modern).  Since the missions in the latter three were highly political, there was no way -- short of mass murder -- to achieve whatever ridiculous (and wrong) goals the US was attempting to achieve.
