Just someone else feeling sorry for himself....
if you want something in life get off your backside, and do it yourself!! don't rely on others to do it for you

Judging by the pics I have seen ( but for some reason could not add to the post ) the bombs were q ...

Been to the city of Liuzhou for three or four days. A not too big place, closer to Guilin to the east via a slow train ride, further away from Guangxi capital Nanning to the south west. The city's geography was a bit strange with karst (?) hills jutting up here and there, the river was very wide, slow flowing and grey. The city didn't seem overly affluent; I saw snakes being sold - or charmed - in an open air market, and one of the very few places in China where I've seen tiny three wheeled cars ( also in Meizhou, Guangdong ). Some adherence to cultural traditions such as outdoor fan / sword dancing and opera singing, plus the traditionally designed covered bridge in a scenic park, although the former had been newly made from concrete. Famous in China for the supposedly superior wood used in Luzhou coffins as in this translation of a "zhou" poem:
"Be born in Suzhou
Live in Hangzhou
Eat in Guangzhou
Die in Liuzhou"

Maybe not the best reason to visit there.
