I have arthritis in my neck and lower back, I would need a bl**dy big bangle!

You just need a magnetic bracelet the size of a strap for a wrist watch and you wear it on your wrist.
(mostly harmless)

Are you sure that it is arthritis? It sounds to me like the typical places where you get muscle pain - usually from insufficient exercise. If in doubt see a physiotherapist.

100% sure, I have had disc surgery on both my lower back and neck and have had numerous scans and xrays, all the docs agree, arthritis and bu**er all they can do about it. As to excercise, I still do a reaonable amount, swim when I can, play a little tennis and visit the gym at least twice a week along with a lot of walking.

Accupuncture helps but it aint gonna go away.

Good to see some of the same characters still on here after my hiatus. I'm fortunate in not requiring any medical treatment in China unlike my unfortunate father in law who parted company with his scooter resulting in six broken ribs and a broken collar bone. The scooter survived unscathed. He has now been in hospital for several weeks with regular updates from his doctor informing him of the terrible consequences should he decide to discharge himself. I didn't realise there was so many things he could die from.
It seems obvious to me that the hospital will do their utmost to keep him there until money runs out. Even the staff seem well versed in making a buck. After being misdirected twice by reception a lady offered to escort my wife to the very best doctor ..... for the small consideration of 200 yuan!
