This is total disgusting and humiliating for Asian POWs that were captured and tortured during the WWII. They do not deserve the apology from Mitsubishi because Japanese sees that it's so disgraceful for them to acknowledge their past sins on people of same color skin as them ? What a joke !!!
Your action in such affair has driven a strong message to the world. If the Japanese can discriminate against our own Asian neighbours, it is natural that all of the westerners could do likewise afterall Japanese will be a slave to the anglo-saxon white supremist.....
You have make yourself a fool in this respect, as Mitsubishi does not realise how many Asians supported the company in their products manufactured and supplied over the years.... and make this company a very wealthy entity.

The sense of remorse in Abe is too lopsided to the US to take into consideration those suffered in Asia. In other words, Abe and his administration has a double standard between the US and Asian countries in making apology for the war time attrocities. This comes from his lack of historical perception, which makes him unable to acknowledge his imbalance.

It's true that there were also many POWs who were Dutch, British and Australians. The overwhelming majority of the POWs were Chinese and Koreans though.

But I am not sure whether this Mitsubishi apology was exckusively for US POWs as I remember the BBC mentioning British POWs were also represented in this Mitsubishi event.
