Any government can "crack down on corruption" in its own backyard.

But why does corruption rear ...

Old Snake, China is going to put an end to corruption as you know it.  Your influence over China through its corrupt officials will also disappear.  Japan cannot bank on winning the Third Sino-Japanese War using Chinese turncoats and traitors and would finally end up paying a price far greater than what it has historically paid thus far.

Sycophants like you never live a long life in China; all of them come to a tragic man-made end.  ...

I seek no favor, ask no reward, so how can I be a sycophant?  But a pathological liar who even changes history to suit the tastes of his payroll master, attacking China for everything, including its impeccable campaign against corruption (including foreign-instigated corruption), can at best be a sycophant, and at worst, a worm, or parasite.  At any rate, you are too small a worm for China to pay attention to.

Xi should be praised for his relentless effort at rooting out corruption where his predecessors have not dared to tread, which is within the turfs of the military and security branches of the government.

Xi is a man of principle, courage and vision.  China is extremely fortunate to have such a leader at this time, especially when China is being coerced into defending her sovereignty under constant provocation by the same Imperial Japanese war-criminal-worshippers trying to begin another chapter of invasion of China, starting where it all began, at Diaoyudao, in 1894, just before the signing of the forced Treaty of Shimonoseki, authored by Japan's favorite Chinese official, Li Hongzhang.

Indeed, who says Asian countries have to have Western-style corruption in order to be clean?  Do Asians have to allow foreign NGO's, GO's, MNC's, and any foreign person or organization that wants to change their domestic policies and foreign policies to support any of "their" candidates for high office, including allowing their airwaves and print space (which are as much part of their SOVEREIGN TERRITORY, as are their actual AIR, LAND AND SEA space) to be dominated and aggressively invaded by foreign powers through their local stooges?

CHINA SHOULD REDEFINE ITS SOVEREIGN TERRITORY TO INCLUDE ITS AIRWAVES, COMMUNICATIONS, PRINTSPACE AND CYBERSPACE.

Thus far, foreign powers have been trying to invade China through these spaces in the name of human rights.  Why can they not also invade their land, for human rights?  That used to be called "liberation".  Which takes an act of war to accomplish, that is why.  Invasion of the airspace, cyberspace and print space however, takes only a chain of loud and noisy transmitters, also known as MAINSTREAM MEDIA to accomplish.

Western banks benefit from both the corruption and the fear that the corrupt may be prosecuted. Corruption enables individuals to amass huge sums of money and the fear of prosecution sends those sums into western banks for safe-keeping.

The West will support any corrupt individual or regime on that basis. The West is the den of all evil.
The world needs more idiots like me, all the others think they are clever.

Corruption money almost always flow into foreign banks which keeps them busy and profitable.  More so now that the Yuan is overvalued against the Dollar, capital flight benefits from it by being exchanged for more dollars than in the past.  Then, when the Yuan reverts to normal, market-based, exchange rates of somewhere between 6.50 to 7.00 Yuans to 1 Dollar, these laundered monies are sent back to China as "Foreign Direct Investments", now being exchanged for more Yuans per dollar than in the past.  These two profit opportunities are more than enough to pay for the banking services of these foreign banks.

Ever wonder how the largest source of FDI in China comes from the British Virgin Islands?

The next is from Hong Kong, which explains everything.
