Sorry, the guy's name is Goldman.
Old Forked-Tongue Seneca gets tongue-tied when he is lying in a fit. Fatsu on the other hand does not speak because he writes. Two clowns trying to prolong the myth to the Vietnamese readers that they are after all Sons of Frenchmen, to no avail, even if Seneca tried to contract 1,180 years of Vietnam being a part of the celestial empire into 9 centuries (his math, which sucks, so don't trust their deals BTW).
So, our Aryan-supremacist detractors have become one, tongue-tied, the other dumb, and innumerate as well as illiterate (cannot even spell Goldstein correctly) in the face of the HISTORIC TRUTH that Vietnam and China were indeed one country for more than one thousand long years, longer than the existence of the Roman Empire.
Rubbish aside, the main theme of this thread is that Vietnam and China have so much in common, in culture, in language, in philosophy, and now, we all realize, in a common maritime resource that we have shared without any conflict for more than a thousand years until the LOS fellows came up with EEZ's that maketh mine not thine, and vice versa, and which forces both countries to deal with this dilemma of the modern age, where property is always private unless proven otherwise. But, no problem, we can still define a new term, and create a new reality, unhindered by the mental straitjacket that LOS imposes on all the smaller countries, no wonder the world's superpower refused to sign on to it, because of its inherent inconsistencies that are designed to cause countries to quibble and quarrel over resources they otherwise would have continued to share for centuries to come. That NEW NORMAL of the Law of the Sea with Sino-Vietnamese Characteristics is the concept of the INCLUSIVE ECONOMIC ZONE, which excludes other countries, like the Philippines which wants exclusive rights to the South China Sea, but which includes China and Vietnam which are willing to share the maritime resources in a region where both have fished for two millennia or more, even if it technically and legally still belonged to the original owner, China, of which Vietnam was a part, for over a thousand years, until 968 AD.
THIS IS THE FAIR ASIAN AND CONFUCIAN SOLUTION TO THE CHAOS CREATED BY THE UNCLOS DEFINITION OF MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE EEZ'S WHERE IEZ'S ARE INSTEAD NEEDED.
