[size=13.1999998092651px]Transition is such a phase that always comes with hidden and suspicious gifts with it.It is  a risky process wich includes  development  as well disaster .Change always comes with some cost.In this phase of transition China has been the biggest player which has spent a quality  time while develloping itself and enjoying the  fruits of development and at the same time has been victim to greatest disasters since Mao's reign.Time has always been the greatest healer both for the country and country men living there.Untill China has not opened itself to the world, people knew little  about it.On the same time China had the feeling of superiority  in comarison to other countries. But ,certainly after 70s China has changed its attitude  towards other nations and has started opening up.It has proved its mettel by placing itself just after Uncle Sam seems to be loosing its leadership qualities. The formation of AIIB ( ASIAN INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT  BANK)  which has attracted european union's  economic giants such as Germany and United Kingdom only proves that how powerful has china become in recent years and the fact that it has become the second largest economy  as well as third highest importer of arms just adds icing to the cake.                       [size=13.1999998092651px]

After more than a century of wars (both foreign and civil), revolts, political campaigns, and being more or less closed to foreign trade and educational / intellectual exchange, at the end of the Cultural Revolution and the Mao era, leaders like Deng Xiaoping toured other countries, including neighboring East Asian countries on the rise, and realized how far behind China had gotten.

Deng, the political leader most credited with the "reform and reopening" [gai ge kai fang] policies, is famously quoted by Western media as saying "to get rich is glorious" .
The streak of development in china  not only surprised but also made the rest of the world anxious to know about  the formulae it used inorder to win the war and give  its countrymen a new life full of opportunities. While the Four Asian Tigers were fighting with the lack of skilled and cheap labour even though they had technologies, it was China who took the opportunity and ended up becoming  one of the biggest electrical  appliances giant. In 80's people back in china started sending students to  foreign countries  for higher studies. This sharp move of China helped it in forming relations with its potential neighbours  as well as the west world. It led to the introduction  of new equipments as well as new technologies brought by the then developed or developing countries. The basic key of development  was the opening up of the dragon and giving a chance to the rest of the world to trade and set up factories and industries as China had cheap and skilled labour.
However the path of development has always  been full of thrones as China has been continuously  critised by the western world for its not so humane policies  other  than the economic  ones. But the most  interesting thing is that the criticism never bothered china as the growth/development  parameters  has always been on its favour. Now after several years when China is on such an unstoppable  path and is in no mood to compromise  or bargain with any tough situation  just reflects how rigid and firm this asian dragon has become to make itself the new superpower among other overwhelming competitors .
