Abe is a good student of Hitler who said that when lying, tell a real big one.
And when lies are repeated often  and often, lies would be believed and become truth.
Abe is counting on the Hitler's teaching to make his lies becoming truth.
I appreciate chancellor Merkel's taking a stance even a very mild one.
Chancellor has unique authority to admonish Germany's former partner in crime to behave a little.
What a contrast between these two former partners in crime.
Germany does not only face its ugly history squarely but has become a genuine force for peace.
Just see the wise and courageous advices the Chancellor has given to a warlike Washington in regard to Ukraine
Germany has shown its real remorse by paying 93 trillion dollars of compensation to the victims and build monuments for them
Japan?
Besides total denial of its crimes, not one cent has been paid to the victims.
Even the US congress passed law to request Japan to pay the most brutalized victims, the sex slaves.
Japan so far ignored the law and does not pay a cent.
Not only that, Japan is bribing American media and congress to make them blacken its former victims.
Japan waste no resources to make America to paint China as the great threat to it and the world.
Coupling with Abe's fervor military build up, a second Japanese Nazi regime is not a far fetched prospect.
Hope the wise chancellor can put some sense in Abe, but I would bet on it.
