The taste of baijiu is ok.What I can not bearable is that Chinese people want to express their hospitalities and  always forced others to drink too much baijiu which often make some people  have a serious vomit.I am very poor when it comes to drink baijiu.

Chinese beer is OK but I agree the wine is not up to it. I usually buy French or Australian wines.

WHICH chinese beer is "OK"?  the one for 1.6 kuai or the one for 13 kuai /  500 ml ?

Chinese beer is OK for a cool drink in warm weather, I have found one or two black beers that are not bad but nothing up to a British real ale
