nd unless you study at university, like Da Shan did, it's almost impossible for foreigners to speak very fluently and to read and write Chinese.

at hsk 5, chinese wife doesnt speak english, i have better pu tong hua than most locals here, and never studied in university or a school.

now, very few people can been totally fluent in another language, unless they were brought up with it.

Learning han zi is very very difficult,

it's not that difficult. all you do is remember a character. nothing else.

no language is easily to learn, unless you live in that country for a long enough time.

are you drunk?..
chinese easier than german....
german is one of the easiest languages out there ...

i dont know who is crazier than the two of you, if you look in history, the origin of english is actually germanic....that is why the two can be easily learned if you know one or the other.
and as for german or chinese...., wheww..i tell you, even the chinese has a hard time learning their phonetics - so chinese is hard to learn..
