Lack of knowledge in [FA] first aid, is an excuse only, you only need so show a little compassion to other. hold the hand and comfort them.

its hardly an isolated incident.
started with the woman who fell off the bus, judge found the person behind guilty because "he was behind the woman and could have pushed her"

theres the story of the young girl in foshan who was hit by a car that didn't stop, how many people drove/walked by?

on the local news there are stories about this all the time.

thats why the story made the news. it is a serious problem in china.

The example you gave is the opposite of what this thread is about. If fact dozens of people came to the aid of these children and the 911 operators were flooded with emergency phone calls.

The truth is that several bystanders put themselves in harms way to help capture the driver, such as:
"Sharon Stewart, who cuts hair at a nearby barber shop, told the Times that she was eating outside when she heard what sounded like a terrible crash and screaming. She said she turned around and saw a car leaving and people yelling, so she got in her car and followed."

"Stewart said she saw a young man run from the scene and heard him yelling at what she thought was his companion."
