it's normal

To be fair, any Chinese woman, no matter she is from poor countryside, or urban rich, should not be looked down upon by we ubranities.

And, i think it 's not a big case that the chinese woman in Hangzhou failed to grasp her chicken, which ran acorss the bus. It's just normal way of chinese life.

you cannot judge whether a city is modern or not on a running chicken on a public bus.

re: hibuddie

good question.

people generally think of a modern city as clean, efficient, using the latest technology, and having updated public infrastructure (such as roads, public transportation, government, etc).

i'm not sure if chickens on buses makes a city un-modern or not.

;-P

In the spirit of the recent nominations for forumite of the year, etc., I'd like to make a nomination of my own:

you cannot judge whether a city is modern or not on a running chicken on a public bus.
