Come August 31, 2014, foreign-supported self-appointed "activists" are about to release their biased poll results on questions they came up with on their own, to define the needs of the Macao people in a tour de force to the questions they ask, rather than to the needs of the Chinese citizens residing in Macao.  Any such political activity that questions the sovereignty of China in Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, unless it is conducted or certified by the government of China, is not only inaccurate and misleading, but has been used as in Hong Kong as an instrument to destabilize the government of the Hong Kong SAR, and may be construed as a violation of the sovereignty of China in Macao.  When it is spelled out clearly that the Chief Executive of the Macao SAR under its own charter must be appointed by the Central government, the answer is already there for public information, and the question raised about whether it should be observed or not, is no longer a question about transparency and clarity, but about questioning the authority of such a charter, which being based on the sovereignty of China in Macao, and is a de facto challenge to such sovereignty, and constitutes a crime of sedition, subversion, secession or treason.  As such, instigators of such activities would normally be subject to either prosecution or automatic administrative invalidation of their Chinese citizenship and residency permit in Macao or Hong Kong, as crime should not pay, but rather, should pay up.

The Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, as promulgated by the National People's Congress clearly states:

Article 23 - The Macao Special Administrative Region shall enact laws, on its own, to prohibit any act of treason, secession, sedition, subversion against the Central People's Government, or theft of state secrets, to prohibit foreign political organizations or bodies from conducting political activities in the Region, and to prohibit political organizations or bodies of the Region from establishing ties with foreign political organizations or bodies.

Seneca is a foreigner who is agitating for regime change in Hong Kong, and now, Macau, as well.  Those who follow his lead would therefore qualify as violators, and therefore criminals, under Article 23 of the Basic Law of the Hong Kong SAR and also of the Macao SAR of the People's Republic of China.  Beware the foreigners who bring gifts . . .

I'd like to see your source and/or evidence that 'activists' in Macau are foreign supported.

:tim ...

Coralbay, you are a foreigner, aren't you?  What and who are you supporting?  Yes?
