NOT SO FAST, AND NOT SO EASY - OCCUPY CENTRAL AND THE STUDENT REBELLION SHOULD REMAIN ANSWERABLE FOR THE ECONOMIC DAMAGE THEY HAD INFLICTED ON THE RESIDENTS OF HONG KONG AND KOWLOON. AND IF THERE IS ANY LOSS OF LIVES ON EITHER SIDE, IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY AS WELL.
The ringleaders of the Occupy Central with "Peace and Love" should remain answerable for the economic losses of millions of Hong Kong residents. Just like arsonists cannot absolve themselves of their guilt by merely "surrendering" themselves to the police station before the charges are finalized, and walk out un-charged for the full litany of their crimes, so too the backers of the Occupy Central, not just the three talking heads, but their media backers who provide free advertisement supporting their crimes against society must be answerable, if not as principals, which could very well be the case, then at least, as accomplices and accessories. The economic losses of the people of Hong Kong probably runs in the billions of dollars, and cannot be written off with a slap on the wrist, even if Leung is willing to let it go because these fellows are acquaintances.
Because of the unlisted and unsettled massive economic damages inflicted by the Occupy Central foreign stooges and students, the government of HKSAR should bar all the participants of these illegal blockade or occupation of public roads and buldings from leaving Hong Kong for any foreign country for any reason, until the matter has been fully investigated and all legal claims have been satisfied.
Depending on the facts and legal findings, further decisions about their residency status and citizenship should be made, while the LegCo fast tracks the passage of a National Sovereignty Law that states, to wit:
"THE NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY LAW OF HKSAR:
The sovereignty of China in Hong Kong Special Adminstratiive Region of the People's Republic of China is a fact, acceptance and respect for which is a pre-requisite for the validity of any residency permit, visa or Chinese citizenship documents. Any act that rejects, opposes, denies, questions, ignores, ridicules, contradicts or insults the sovereignty of China in Hong Kong SAR is a crime of Lese Majeste, and is sufficient grounds for the automatic invalidation of any residency permit by the HKSAR, and any visa or citizenship status by the central government of China, not subject to judicial review. All other violations shall be addressed by the public laws applicable to the HKSAR of the People's Republic of China."
