This post is intended to teach chinese learners American Slang. American Slang is most likely the most difficult section of the American English language which anyone can study. It's lack of internal structure in most phrases can be confusing such as "Yo, Waz up G!" or "That ain't no dope a*s sh*t".

American Slang traditionally uses many offensive terms and shortened words which may catch an beginner in English but any advanced English user may find it easy to understand. Additionally some words such as ain't aren't words which exist within professionally recognized english but is commonly used by certain people in america.

Anyone who could contribute to this post please post any words which you may already know. Your contributions would be helpful. (As long as they are relevant). I myself will be publishing conversations and explaining all details necessary to your American Slang education.

Here is a an example of a conversation between two American Slang speaking individuals.

Man 1: "Yo dawg, waz good?"
Man 2: "Not much, just dope a*s sh*t"
Man 1: "'fo' rizzle"

This conversation is not a full fledged conversation but may have many unfamiliar words. I will be going over these words definitions and meanings one-by-one and try to describe them as well as I can

First there is "Yo". "Yo" is short for you and within the communities which "Yo" is used people do not show respect to the other person they are speaking to therefore many slang speakers will use "Yo" in the beginning of their sentences.

"Dawg" is a word which, traditionally in american slang, comes after "Yo" within the speaker's sentence. The "Dawg" is used by a person who knows you well like a friend.

"Waz" is a word which is a contraction for the contraction: What's (What is).

"Waz Good" is a phrase which addresses the one being spoken to and declares that the speaker would like to know more about the emotional condition of the one being spoken to.

"Not much, but dope a*s sh*t" is a positive response to the question "Waz good" showing that you do not want to share the recent events which occurred to you but they most definitely were fun.

"Fo' rizzle" is a term used by American Slang speakers to mean "true that" or "for real" which announces an acknowledgement of the last speaker's response and it shows that you additionally agree with what had just been said.

Dope is a word which represents an illegal drug called heroin  which is commonly traded on the criminal markets in the United States of America. Although it is an illegal drug many American Slang users use it to describe something in a positive context through using it as an adjective.
