A policeman in the U.S. is being investigated for beating a homeless woman.
She is now undergoing psychiatric evaluation.
He is under investigation.
This sort of thing happens in just about every nation. They are isolated incidents both in the U.S. and in China.
Once in a while a policeman or someone else loses their temper and these unfortunate incidents take place.

But I have to wonder how many right wing antagonists of China that frequent this forum would jump to immediate
conclusions if this video was taken in China.. a Chinese policeman beating a Chinese citizen.
You know what they would claim. That his is common place in China. That officials get off without any consequences.
That nobody was helping the woman who was being beaten.
I don't see anyone helping this woman. I do see someone come up and help the outraged policeman hold the beaten
woman down.

It will be interesting to see how all the antagonists of China, who would jump with glee is this took place in China, comment
on such an event happening in their capitalist west. They will claim they would not be happy if this video was taken in
China but we know better.

If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

Every police force has criminal police as members, they are only a small minority. Most police like all emergence responders along with the military have Depression or PTSD or both, that is undiagnosed. They operate on automatic pilot, till something  or something makes them snap. Even they don't understand what happens till medical experts evaluate their state of illness.

Exactly, seems he's okay with Sarkozy's abusive style during his role as "law enforcer" in Paris.
