2014 June 24, New York, United States, Chinesebillionaire Chen Guangbiao handed out 100 dollar to homeless people with peoplerefusing his donation. The next day, in Manhattan,he held a donation ceremony at the upscale Loeb Boathouse in Central Park, where he promised to hand out 300 USD in cash to eachperson. But failing to get the money caused dissatisfaction and anger of mostpoor.

It is not denied that Chen really helped many people in need whilespread his reputation. Many people say his high-profile hand-outs areostentation and even “violent charity”, because giving cash to poor directlycannot change their poverty fundamentally but foster a culture of dependency. So what do you think about his donation?
