Good morning.

I teach and work with Chinese high school and college students. I help them to realize their dreams. In fact, my dream is to do all I can to help them realize their dreams.

I want to teach you about the word ‘dream’ today. And, I’ll teach you a few phrases that are commonly used by native English speakers about dreams and dreaming.

‘live my dreams’

‘have a dream’

I can live my dreams.

I have many big dreams for my life.

Every night, I find myself dreaming about good things.

One of my dreams is to speak English fluently.

One of my dreams is to speak English like a native English speaker.

I have big dreams for my life.

I believe that I can live my dreams.

I believe in myself.

These are very common expressions that you’ll hear people say here in the USA. Especially young people. But, we all have dreams and believe that our lives can be better. Dreams do come true. I want to continue every day to help you make your English speaking dreams, come true.

That’s all for today.

Goodbye for now.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Thanks. Yes. Chinese students have trouble with those two. I did a lesson on that earlier this year. Thank you.

I talk to a TV set in front of hundreds of people, after my careful reading, the sentence is like that. Hilarious.

我在数百人面前向电视讲话。This sentence means I talk to hundreds of people in front of a TV set. That is very ridiculous unless you talk to a set which is displaying Nick Armstrong is looking at you from the moon. You might be taken to the nearest hospital to have a check on the head.
