Did SME lose the entire game in business?

"It doesn't matter whether a cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice."Said by Mr. Deng Xiaoping

In this fast changing business world nowadays, a cat or even lost-fat cat than Mr. Garfield is simply NOT good enough from basic living.

Particularly SMEs may find customers are becoming more diversified than ever. For example, Chinese tea can be traded more simple via wechat; and a bottle of perfume can be shipped out right away with real time video footage on Tik Tok than taking two minutes to setup a taobao account.

Product Quality and Innovation are the bottom lines that could only ensure you are in the game, NOT the only two key factors anymore. That is why XiaoMi succeed by their social media marketings strategy and brand diversification strategy. Even XiaoMi can generate millions of revenue simply by selling toothpaste under their brand if they really want to.

I am NOT a big fan of XiaoMi personally, as I do not wanna become the"Little Dim Sum"transformed by XiaoMi. In reality, online stream can be converted into cash. SMEs need to learn, to get involved and to invest in this stream, like the same effort as we did in products R&D field, patents and branding in the past decays.

Tik Tok, Instgram, Line, Wechat, folks? Learning by living~
