Share Sum of your religion and philosophy
KIyer 2015-1-12 17:57
I don't care which religion or faith you profess or what philosophy you proclaim. I don't care how much you pray. I see the sum total of all that in and judge you by how you deal with those around you. The same goes for me too!

Extended Secrets Of Wars and Conflict In a war, mostly, the one you fight is not your enemy or real adversary, it might even be your friend, relative or neighbour. The real enemy is one who stands to gain from you two fighting. It is when enemies fight each other directly, that the battle can be honourable, else it is a tra ...

The Secrets Of Wars and Conflict 1) In a war, mostly, the one you fight is not your enemy or real adversary, it might even be your friend, relative or neighbour. Share What Changes Have You Noticed in CD?
KIyer 2014-9-22 08:36
Have you noticed changes in CD? It has been a bit over an year since I came across and joined this CD forum. I was a bit nervous and had no idea how an English language forum in a Chinese website would be. I noticed that the most active members appeared to be mostly native English speakers, not all of whom were based in China. There were quite a few Chinese who seemed to be using this forum to develop their knowledge of and confidence in English, but the whole atmosphere appeared to be dom ...

Share Who is an adult?
KIyer 2014-9-12 06:52
A child enters adulthood when it realizes that the adults around it are not all as honest and straightforward as it believed them to be. Is it not fitting that we consider childhood lasts as long as one believes in fairy tales?

KIyer 2014-9-4 07:44
A Warm Indian Welcome To A Neighhour (President Xi Jinping To Visit India) One of the very best compliments that a country and culture can get was from Hu Shih, an ambassador of the Republic of China to the USA. Here is what he said - "India conquered and dominated China culturally for 20 centuries without ever having to send a single soldier across her border." Such a tri ...

KIyer 2014-8-29 07:43
There are English - the people of England. There is English - their language. There is English English or British English and then there are other English languages - used in the USA, Australia, NZ, India and so many countries, each with its own distinct local flavour. There is literary English of novels and poetry - often with variations in spellings and in syntax with changing locations. There is spoken English with its accents, jargons and local phrases ...

KIyer 2014-8-28 06:58
One can barely see ahead. Not safe unless one drives slowly. There are patches of clear, but mostly it is a world shrouded in fog. And I am not talking only about the weather around Melbourne this morning!
