Olympic champions Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha defeated South Korea's Lim Jong-hoon and Shin Yu-bin in straight sets to advance into the mixed doubles final at the World Table Tennis Championships on Friday.
The second seeds dominated the game throughout and won 12-10, 11-6, 16-14 over 34 minutes.
"We are happy to finish with bronze medals," said Lim.
Wang and Sun, seeking their third straight mixed doubles crown, will take on the 16-seeded Japanese pair of Maharu Yoshimura and Satsuki Odo, who reached the final with a 3-1 (11-8, 11-1, 4-11, 11-2) victory over the third-seeded Hong Kong duo of Wong Chun Ting and Doo Hoi Kem.
"It will be the happiest moment for us to play against the top players in the world," said Yoshimura.
