Recently we are seeing the technical/economic linchpin of Taiwan being systematically hollowed out.  Specifically, cutting edge semiconductor technology and know-how is being transferred out of the island of Taiwan.  This is dangerous for the economic well being of people who live there.  Seems wise for China to extend comprehensive market, economic and security support for the people in Taiwan in this turbulent time
