The Devil Road section of National Highway 210 in Guizhou province, a twisting passage through some of the country's most precipitous terrain, can take a driver's breath away. It's not for the faint of heart.

The 12-kilometer road — also called The 72 Turns — snakes its way through Tongzi county on high Liangfengya mountain to an altitude of 1,450 meters.

Known for its extreme curves, the road is tough to navigate, especially for large trucks, which may need more than an hour to make the trip, even during good weather.
