As the Beijing Winter Olympics events are in full swing, the life of international athletes in the Olympic Village has also been a focus of media attention. Japanese media Yomiuri Shimbun recently interviewed several athletes, who spoke highly of the food and accommodation in the Village.

Yomiuri Shimbun noted that athletes from various countries have posted photos or videos of dishes served in the Village. "The food in the Winter Olympic Village is so good that I can’t stop eating until I am too full!" said Japanese freestyle skier, Anri Kawamura, with a smile of satisfaction. As seen in the photos posted by the athletes, the cafeteria offers Chinese-style dishes, Italian-style pasta and other diverse dishes, as well as cold foods and drinks. It is reported that there are more than 600 kinds of items in the menu. Japanese speed skater Nana Takagi happily said, "There's even Peking duck here!"

Anri Kawamura also shared her room in the Winter Olympic Village on social platforms, saying, "The room is big and warm, the bed is comfortable, and the life here is great." "The Bing Dwen Dwen cup lid is so cute.”

"It's comfortable to live here," said Japanese ice hockey player Chiho Osawa, who also considered her room spacious.

According to Japanese media, the angle of the athletes' beds could be adjusted with remote control. American luger Summer Britcher was full of praise about this design and exclaimed "unbelievable".
