1.  The following are excerpts from a news report, dated 6 June 2021, under the headline "Trump slams N.Y. probe, Biden, Fauci and China in fiery speech to N.C. GOP".

(Begin excerpts)
Former President Donald Trump said Saturday night that a criminal probe targeting him in New York state is a “prosecutorial misconduct” scheme by Democrats to keep him from running again in 2024.

In a fiery speech to the North Carolina GOP convention, Mr. Trump said the probe of him and the Trump Organization by the Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. and New York Attorney General Letitia James, both Democrats, is being funded by liberals.

“Hundreds of thousands of dollars of radical left Democrats have been paid to these prosecutors in the form of campaign contributions to go get Trump,” Mr. Trump said at the convention in Greenville. “They’ll never stop until November 2024.”

He said New York prosecutors “right now are spending vast amounts of time and money, threatening families and trying to destroy the lives of innocent people, really good people, in their crusade to inflict pain on me. It’s prosecutorial misconduct. It’s a fishing expedition.”

Mr. Vance has convened a grand jury that is looking at the Trump Organization’s financial dealings, including tax and insurance records.

Referring to his status as the generally acknowledged leader of the Republican Party, Mr. Trump said the prosecutors are really targeting his supporters.

“They want to silence you, they want to silence your voice,” he said. “I am not the one trying to undermine American democracy. I’m the one that’s trying to save it. Our movement is far from over. In fact, it is just getting started.”

In his first political speech since last winter, Mr. Trump again teased a possible candidacy in 2024, calling the next presidential election “a year I look very much forward to.”.....

The former president said the U.S. and the community of nations should demand “reparations” of at least $13 trillion from Beijing to compensate them for the damage inflicted by the virus.

....Mr. Trump said. “We should all declare with one unified voice that China must pay. The United States should immediately take steps to phase in a 100% tariff on all goods made in China. As a first step, all countries should collectively cancel any debt they have to China as a down payment on reparations.”

The former president devoted a portion of his speech to the 2020 election, calling it “by far the most corrupt election in the history of our country.”

“They used COVID, and they used mail-in ballots to steal the election,” he said of Democrats.

Referring to a Republican-ordered election audit in Arizona’s largest county, Mr. Trump said other states such as Pennsylvania and Georgia are eyeing similar audits. Rejecting the counsel of advisers who have urged him to move on from the election, Mr. Trump said, “Without going back, you’re not going to go forward.”

“I have nothing to do with the Arizona situation,” Mr. Trump said. “Maybe they’ll find nothing, but maybe not. That election will go down as the crime of the century. [Facebook CEO Mark] Zuckerberg broke the law, spending millions of dollars … [on] get out the vote efforts in highly Democratic areas.”

“I don’t believe we’re a 50-50 nation, where these things are split evenly,” he said. “This is corrupt elections, and we can’t allow it to go on. We have to clean up those [voter] rolls, we have to do so many things.”

Many states are approving voter-integrity laws with requirements such as voter ID, and limits on mail-in balloting. Mr. Trump praised those moves and criticized a Democratic bill in Congress that Republicans say would set national standards for state elections.

“Joe Biden called these common-sense reforms ‘un-American,’” Mr. Trump said. “But the thing that is really un-American is an election scam. We must have photo ID, universal signature verification, citizenship confirmation, chain-of-custody integrity control, updated voter rolls. … We cannot have drop boxes paid for by Facebook and Zuckerberg. We must eliminate the absurdity of mass mail-in voting.”

He slammed the Biden administration for lax border enforcement, rising crime, embracing “critical-race theory” in schools, and rising inflation.

“How’s your gasoline price doing?” Mr. Trump asked the crowd. “All Joe Biden had to do was sit back and do nothing [on the economy]. It was taking off like a rocket ship. Instead, the economy is going to hell, and inflation is going to cause a catastrophe. Inflation is now at the highest level in 13 years.”  (End excerpts)

My friend, long time no see.  Glad to see you back again.

The so-called US allies are well aware that Trumpism is still alive, and they wonder if, four years from now, a divided America may reelect Trump or another America First president.

Even if the self-declared "Messiah" ex-president reunites with his supposedly Father in Heaven, Trumpism will remain alive for many decades to haunt America's China policy.

The current US "MCC King" will have to carefully consider when and how much to cooperate with China, as two-thirds of Americans have a negative view of the country, polling by the Pew Center for Research shows -- the worst level since the agency began taking the temperature on China in 2005.

It won't come as a surprise for Biden to imitate his "conman" predecessor in order to appease the GOP and 72 million Trump voters.  In particular, he tries to show them that he is "more Trump than Trump" in his policy towards China.  Hence Trump may warn his followers if he could run for president in 2024:  "Vote the real Trump, not the pseudo-Trump, into the White House.  Buy real goods, not fake goods."

2. It is laughable for the most crooked president in American history to harp on his opposition’s alleged electoral fraud, claiming that the US presidential election in 2019 "will go down as the crime of the century." As the worst and most corrupt president in US history and a first-class kleptocrat, he is so shameless that the skin of his face must be thicker than onion skin, with layers after layers of skin to peel off (as in the Chinese saying 脸皮厚过洋葱头).

3. In November 2019, he demanded South Korea to pay $4.7 billion (400% more) for US troops in the region. In the same year, he also demanded Japan to quadruple annual payments for US forces stationed there to around $8 billion.

In July 2018, hours after opening the NATO summit with an unhinged attack against Germany, he followed up with an abrupt request for NATO member nations to double their defense spending target from the current 2 to 4 percent.

"What good is NATO," the "Me First" US ex-president asked.

4. It is not the first time the lawless ex-president demands reparations from China. When asked about reparations at an April 27, 2020 press briefing, he said the US would be seeking “very substantial damages” from China for the financial fallout of COVID-19. Now he is harking back on his pet proposal for Chinese reparations, calling for an increase to 100% tariff on all Chinese goods and suggesting all countries should collectively cancel any debt they have to China as a down payment on reparations.

Opening his big mouth as big as that of a lion, he suggested that the US and all other countries should demand “reparations” of at least $13 trillion from China to compensate them for the damage inflicted by the virus.

As in the Chinese saying, "Asking for a high price with a mouth as big as that of a lion (狮子大开口)", the "Me First" ex-president tried to squeeze as much money as possible not only out of America's perceived adversary but also all of its so-called allies or friends.

If he continues opening his big mouth to "bite" America’s allies and enemies, his head may end up in the wide open mouth of a crocodile like that of the poor lion in one of Baron Munchausen's adventures.

His supporters will obviously close an eye to the fact that investigations into his financial flim-flams had been started before he became president. So that begs the question how the investigation is politically motivated to prevent his reelection come 2024?

What he fails to realize is that in questioning election results and reforms, he has just announced to the world that the US democratic system is cronically deficient. And who is to doubt that coming from a former US president?

This also means the Biden administration in still trying to peddle US domination as the defacto system of global governance is without a molecule of integrity.

Which nation with states and legislatures can then countenance the adoption of such a US-defined system of democracy that reeks of internal discord and domestic divisiveness?

As for trying to extort money from China blamed without proof for the pandemic, one wonders if he has made a deal with the virus for a commission of billions after realizing the virus was already raging in Maryland before the sick US army sportspersons had to be airlifted pronto out of Wuhan after performing suspiciously subpar at the military games there before the outbreak.

Or maybe it's just his incompetence and bravura against the danger which was already communicated to him by Beijing through the WHO and his own US health personnel stationed in China.

That Biden is silent on calls for any WHO investigation into the US Fort Detrick's bio-weapons lab for that matter the US pharma money trail relating to pre-Wuhan US coronavirus research is an indictment of US malfeasance trying to shift blame to and extort money from China whose peoples have similarly suffered.

Trump may think he's a hero but even his own right hand disagrees with him. His thumb and index finger are making a zero.

"Even Mussolini has better morality"  Has he now? And whereabouts and when has he been displaying this of late?

wchao37

What fiery speech, reedak?

Why even bother quoting from a con man who hungers for attention?

Even Mussolini has better morality than this skunk of a man.
