US is a threat to the survival of global democracy

A screenshot of the Democracy Perception Index 2021.

According to a new poll commissioned by the Alliance of Democracies Foundation among 50,000 respondents in 53 countries, the United States is not fit to present itself as the chief guardian of global democracy. The self-appointed arbiter of righteousness is more of a threat to democracy, economic equality and global health than any other country in the world.

The findings show that nearly half or 44 percent of the respondents in the 53 countries surveyed are concerned that the US continues to threaten democracy in their country. Worse still, the study shows that neither the US nor the G7 can simply assume the mantle of defenders of democracy.

On the contrary, voters in Norway, Switzerland, Sweden and China are most confident that their country is democratic. In China, for instance, 71 percent of voters agree that China has the right amount of democracy. That's not exactly a sterling success story for the US

In living memory

Despite President Joe Biden administration's improvement promises, history tells us that oligarchs will continue to maximize their wealth, using the "democratically elected" government to shape policies and laws favorable to their interests. People are still afraid of the ruling establishment.

With disastrous US foreign policy practices and a unilateral approach to international affairs, the US is, in essence, still on another planet, and the world can still pick a major fight with the beltway in Washington in many spheres, including racism, discrimination and Islamophobia.

That the Alliance of Democracies Foundation took the risk on the global front illustrates just how worried the group is about the survival of American democracy. Thanks to the trade wars, travel bans, anti-immigrant and white supremacist policies, the global gamblers of the Biden administration are not expected to do well on these metrics. This could be due to the rise of hyper-partisan media, high-tech companies and social media, political polarization and state-level restrictions on voting rights.

The reality is that Biden and his enthusiastic national security advisers may never fully follow any playbook to prop up domestic laws and international norms, including strategic agreements and treaties like the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with Russia and the Paris climate accord or support permanently lifting patents on COVID-19 vaccines and supplies – undemocratic practices that have destabilized global politics and health.

With Americans afraid of their government and its anti-democratic leadership, the question remains: How come the Biden administration still insists on flaunting the banner of democracy in the Asia-Pacific region to the extent of attempting to interfere in and destabilize the Chinese peripheries?

No one can pretend democracy is perfect or all-wise in this part of the world. Yet there can be no doubt that the Biden administration is afraid to let the world judge the truth and its falsehood. It's still a government that is afraid of its own people, afraid to entrust them with universal values and norms.

The long con of global dominion

At the very least, there can be little question that the claim that American democracy under Biden's administration is a scam. It is not democracy but American exceptionalism that is on the march.

The US has been involved in a disastrous campaign of "building democracy" for so long that it is no longer capable of winning global support. What we are witnessing is a brain-dead version of stage-managing that has left many nations, including perceived allies, wondering what to do next somewhere down the line.

In the face of it, it's always good to look for some bright spot, and there happens to be one area where the US remains the undisputed global champ in isolating itself. Peoples and governments, especially in resource-rich countries, such as those in the Middle East and Africa, are already raising the alarm. Despite all the pressure and threats, they are not willing to make a choice. They have managed to set themselves free from the hysteria of US media and warrior corporations.

Forget human rights invitations at the UN or Biden's G7 public compliments that have nothing to do with democracy. More and more, the self-appointed arbiter of righteousness is playing the long con against the system of global dominion in a genuinely impressive fashion. Far from bringing democracy to distant lands, expect "the most exceptional and triumphant nation" on our planet to only provide further legitimacy for undemocratic forces of all sorts, fueling disaster capitalism, unknown callousness and base-world blowback.

Pretty good actually. Better than the western model pedalled by the west.

How is the "democratic process" holding up in your own country?

Right now, the US democracy process is stymied; the Democrats want to change the US general election rules but the Republicans are fighting that move. If the champion of democracy is stumped by its own representatives, what system of government is that, one which cannot decide how to get itself elected without controversy, furthermore budgetarily locks itself down from time to time?

Meanwhile the anguish and anger of its grassroots simmer in the walkways to its US Capitol.  If there's any consolation, at least their representatives don't fight and throw chairs at one another during session - such as was seen in other democracies. Not that long ago.

"Can anyone imagine how the US billionaires will want the public to vote..." It's fairly likely that American citizens will view the interests of their billionaire countrymen as irrelevant when it comes to their voting decisions. Your imagination might be more on the mark regarding the number of citizens who would also want to become billionaires and who wouldn't be bothered about voting since it's not compulsory anyway.

Indeed,

Still, I wonder why the ol'chap continues to walk that line???

America works like a corporation where the few controlling shareholders call the shot. Annually the companies will organize gatherings on 1 particular day for the small non-controlling shareholders to vote on some general matters that does not really dictate how the company is being run for the rest of the 364 days. Throughout this 1 day of voting and the other 364 days, the few major shareholders will collude to decide how the votes should go so their interest is maintined. Apart from that the rules for voting are set by the few controlling shareholders cause nobody can ever out-vote them. Minority shareholders are just to make up the numbers for a show.

As a country, the US is operated in the same manner as a company. The major shareholders are those who either hold the money or the guns. These 2 weapons are used interchangeably or on combined basis to achieve their means.

Can anyone imagine how the US billionaires will want the public to vote if a presidential candidate says he wants to impose 50% income taxes across the nation and that he is going to provide the entire country withh free public, education and medical services? Even those who hold the guns won't agree because their funding and military assignments will be cut in favour of those . America is made up of few cornerstone stakeholders. As the number of these stakeholders are small it is easy for them to arrive at a common concensus. One can bet that these stakeholders will first go for character assassination and if that fails the actual assassination will follow. In terms of character assassination, one should be wary that US is excellent at carefully crafting a certain schemed projection. For example by raising an issue in a certain way so much so that others who don't agree will have to agree because they needed to follow the herd esle they will appear awkward e.g. how the China card is being played at each of the last 4 elections. Frankly what has China got to do with the well being in US domestically when US already controls the global currency, the oil, the technology, has the biggest economy and the most powerful military? How have all these advantageous been flowed to each and every American citizen? For the rest of the 198 nations, none of them have all these combined, yet each and every one of them is still able to make do without such advantageous. They may have one or two of those advantages but certainly not all of them. So what are Americans complaining about? US always accuse others of threatening and stealing from them. Frankly that is to impose a psychological frame to prevent, to blockade those outside US from doing better than the American stakeholders. Only those who fear US will abide by the US rhetoric.

Hence what have the Americans been voting for the last 2 decades? Its never about voting for a better life in US but voting for the destruction of others who search for their own freedom and excellence. This serves only the interest of those few stakeholders who control the US. This is what US democracy is all about.

What other nations do not realise is that US democracy was also engineered to allow US to dictate other nations through their elections. The few US stakeholders controls the US with the claim of democracy - this itself is a tool. Selling the same idea, US can extend its control over a foreign country by colluding with certain domestic powers in a foreign country. Its quite easy for US to do so. If your country's system is the same with the US, then you are good otherwise you are bad - this is the intended projected image. This "same with US" is decided by US not by the world. US can choose and pick who is same and who is different. When certain domestic powers object to US, they will be accused of hijacking democracy and be thrown into jail, of course with the assistance of the US media power and mechanism which are obviously controlled by those few who are controling the US. Just see Venezuela.

The reality is; not Globally but the European Union is asleep while uncle Sam is pushing them into a repeat of the WW2 trap.

With Mutti passing the hellm to her successor, disaster is looming at the horizon.

Today's major wars aren't fought by footsoldiers, but by fingertips (rather outdated).

Shutting down pipelines feeding uncle Sam's hegemony is cheap, but so effective.

 Today's general's are a new breed ...

LOL!

So despite the above survey concurring, Newtown attacks the messenger. That's the same moronic tactic war criminal, Giorgy Schwartz, used, saying he was proud of his enemies. Billy Gates, meanwhile, simply gave a blanket denial against ALL claims made against him. A fact-checker website denied any evidence of him being sued by the indian government for his lethal vaccines. Yet I found a report straightaway of the indian government suing Gates for a polio vaccine, claiming he'd failed to properly inform the victims.

Newtown only confirms the fact that the gangster-run, Anglo-thieved prison-states only have sham-democracies.

Well duh!

It's not as though the Electoral College is democratic. The sheeple vote for a POTUS, only for the goons & thugs to ignore their vote. The sheeple don't get to nominate a candidate either. Bernie Sanders was blocked, Seth Rich leaked to Julian Assange and so they murdered him and peddled the Russiagate hoax, which isn't even possible because no ISPs had the bandwidth.

It's not as though the amerikan sheeple voted to have:

60% of bankruptcies being health-related,

1.5m prison inmates, or a quarter of the entire planet's, in what is clearly a slave-system and where 97% of convictions are by the terrorism of plea-bargaining.

militarised prison-warders that use no-knock assaults,

the streets of San Francisco paved with excrement,

tent-cities where some even have jobs.

collapsing infrastructure, and

an elderly war veteran arrested for giving food to a homeless person.

The poodle-state is the same. They've just doubled down on the lie that coke-head war criminal, BoJo the Clown is popular by gerrymandering Labour strong-hold, Hartlepool. You're supposed to believe that war criminal, Auntie May was marginally less popular than Jeremy Corbyn but coke-head war criminal, BoJo The Clown was MASSIVELY popular. The Quackonomist even "officially denied" that the 2019 vote was gerrymandered by claiming the "Red Wall" voters were affluent. But as it's supposed to be secret there is no way they could possibly make that claim.

It was under the administration of convicted war criminal, Tony Blair, that the electoral judge complained that it "would shame a banana republic" and that the envelopes with a bright purple stripe "may as well have had 'Steal Me!' written on them.

Similarly, the Guardian (MI6 mouthpiece) claimed that Ken Clarke was more popular than the "one-eyed scottish git" (as the former Yob Gear moron called him). It then also reported that the pothead war criminal, was more popular than Ken Clarke. No poll was cited in either case.

Given that the "New Labour" administration of convicted war criminal, Tony Blair, was really Tory anyway, the Tories have been in power since 1979 with the exception of Brown's few years.
