And was harrassed by a squadron of Japanese F15's again, well within China's ADIZ.  Furthermore, the Chinese patrol plane, Yun-12, did not fly over its Diaoyudao sovereign airspace, and went home.

Question:  What is China signaling to Japan, or to the world?

A.  That China is operating its ADIZ function actually, and not just in name.

B.  That Diaoyudao is part of the sovereign territory of China, including its airspace.

C.  That China is merely showing it patrols its ADIZ, but cannot really enforce its surveillance of hostile foreign planes.

D.  That China is allowing Japan to show the world it really has administrative control over Diayoudao, and is the real boss of the overlapping airspace of both countries' ADIZ's, in exchange for Japan allowing China to boast to its citizens that its government is standing up to Japanese annexation of Diaoyudao, when in fact, it is allowing Japan to do so by its effete actions.

E.  That Japan is the aggressor in the ADIZ overlap, which necessitates stronger Chinese military action in future incidents of Japanese F15 intimidations.

F.  That Japan's F15's never really came anywhere close to the Chinese patrol plane, and the Japanese government is pretending to its citizens that it is "intercepting" Chinese planes in its ADIZ.

G.  Others.  If so, explain.
