CD forgot to show pictures of the Chinese passengers who grabbed their luggage from the overhead bins before exiting the aircraft. Something of which, if you actually HAD listened to the flight crews' directions (which I doubt they did), you would know NOT to grab anything at all, but to exit the plane. What do you think would have happened if some idiot's luggage ripped the emergency chute on the way down, rendering it inoperable for all those other passengers waiting to exit? How about the person slowing down everybody behind him as he tries to grab his luggage from the overhead bin?
we have become programed to save our property from our ancesters, it is unfortunatly instinct. only when facing (a few feet away) death will we run, like monkys with a bananna in a pot, people have died in house fires trying to save the tv, pictuers of family, pets etc
Besides Chinese, there WERE Korean and US passengers on board. Sadly the only two reported killed so far have been two Chinese women. I will wait for the latest information to see why only they were killed. But from what I have read so far, it was pilot error. Can't chalk it up to a 'tired' crew. If you've taken a very long international flight you know that the plane is on automatic pilot most of the way and the crew is sleeping along with the passengers.
