If you had a chance to live your childhood again, would you do that?

Was your childhood a sweet memory or a torment for you to recall?

There must be stories to tell about the old times when you were little.

As Children's Day is coming and your memories are flashing back, let's open our hearts and tell the stories that are hidden for long.

    My one and only hard beating from my mother

I don't remember how old I was at that time, perhaps 7.

I was playful and innocent.

One day, I and my cousin who's 2 years older than me were on the way home at noon with reaping hooks  in our hands.

We argued whose reaping hook was sharper, as  we were passing a small field of sunflowers.

The sunflowers blossomed not long ago.

Anyway, my cousin swung his reaping hook towards the stem of a sunflower, it went so fast that the sunflower stayed for a second or two.

I was amazed, I followed suit with my reaping hook and yelled, "See whose is sharper?! "

We kept on slashing sunflowers until almost half of them were down.

We went back each other's homes.

Only after lunch, a villager came to my home with anger on his face.

My mother was outraged for what I did.

She appologized to the man and promised to compensate for the loss.

After the man was gone, my mother started kicking me from the bedroom to the outside, until she saw my arm bleeding;

I saw she was in panic all of sudden and she rolled up my sleeve and found a scab was kicked off.

She was relieved and her anger cooled down;

To me, a lesson was learned:
"I should never do such a thing and my mom loves me"
Life is what you make of it

To be frankly,i have a happy but a little plain childhood.As most children,I have very devoted parents who love me with their full hearts.In my family,I am just a little girl ,protected by the tall wall built by my parents.I know they don`t want me to be hurt,but meanwhile i lose many opportunities to communicate with the nature/society /other people and something else.To some extent,it is a pity.But I really love my parents and thank them very much,cause they give and teach me a lot which is very precious in my whole life.

I had a terribly abusive childhood. Physical emotional mental and physical abuse for many learns to let go and deal with issues. Never worry about hard times though...some of the most beautiful things we have in life come from changes and mistakes. Live with no regrets because everything happens for reasons we never know until much much later in life.
And what's wrong with having dark skin?
