The Chinese Marine Surveillance vessels numbered 8, matched by a larger Japanese Coast Guard contingent of 10 vessels, plus another 10 rightwing Japanese fishing boats and private yachts, all engaged in a frenzy of intrusion and defense on April 23, 2013, around the Chinese sovereign seas surrounding Diaoyudao.

In the end, the Japanese rightwing flotilla was routed and forced to retreat.

Outnumbered, the Chinese Marine Surveillance authority's vessels showed superior seamanship and strategems, winning for China its sole victory against Japan since its founding in 1949.  These sailors have the genes of Zheng He and the blood of Zheng Chenggong flowing in them.  Such skills cannot be learned.  They have to be inherited.  Amazing!!!

JAPAN DID AND WILL TRY AGAIN TO DEFEAT THE CHINESE NAVY WITH AN INSIDE JOB OF SABOTAGING CHINA'S NAVAL LOGISTICS.

The most important lesson China should learn from the First Sino-Japaneese War is that Japan used Chinese traitors at high places in both the civilian and military command structure to deprive the Chinese Navy of an adequate and dependable logistical empowerment, support or reinforcement.

This is how Japan will try to defeat China over Diaoyudao, the East China Sea, and the South China Sea.

China MUST monitor, test, and double-check its logistical support vigorously and repetitively, and attach a responsibility to those in charge of logistics that ranks with capital punishment for failure that leads to any loss of life or territory.  There are no excuses for any logistical breakdown.  None.

APRIL 23, 2013 - THE DAY THE DRAGON ROARED AT THE PHOENIX

Imperial Japan has long identified itself with the mythological phoenix, a fiery bird, whose home is in the East where the sun rises, and China has long associated itself with the dragon of its surrounding seas.

Perhaps because of this superstitious, cultural bias, the current neo-Nazi War-Criminal-Worshipping Shinto-Cult Japanese leadership has chosen to use F-15 fighter planes to respond to China's solo propeller patrol planes, sending up as many as 8 F-15's with one AWACS plane to boot, against a single solitary Chinese Marine Surveillance plane, whilst merely stalemating China's ships patroling Diaoyudao with an equal number of Japanese Coast Guard vessels.

On April 23, 2013, Japan hoped to finally turn the maritime tables on China, sending in 10 Japanese Coast Guard ships, plus another 10 Japanese civilian fishing boats and yachts, to Dioayudao, while China managed to muster only 8 Marine Surveillance ships.

However, all of a sudden, China sent as air cover, some 40 military planes to Diaoyudao, for the first time, outnumbering the Japanese contingent of 8 F-15's.

No wonder the Japanese fleet ultimately retreated.  Not only were they out-maneuvered by superior Chinese naval tactics on the sea, they were out-numbered by Chinese planes in the skies.  As all Neo-Nazi powers do, the Japanese showed respect for force and went home with their tails between their legs.

This incident should be better known in China, as a glaring example of how a blood-thirsty Japanese regime, started to behave when faced with superior force and superior numbers.  China cannot allow its quality and quantity to fall behind its foes.  It makes defense so much more difficult, requiring so much more effort, with risk of sustaining so much more damages.

With a proper show of force, in quality AND in quantity, China was able to win this battle without having to fire a single shot or lose a single life.  Every reason, therefore, for China to forget about any foreign criticisim of its being "overly" armed.  The best way to avoid war is to be prepared to win it.

LESSON FROM THE 4-23 INCIDENT

The main reason why China cannot completely exercise its sovereignty over Dioaoyudao, that by all international treaties belongs to China, is because it is SIMPLY TOO WEAK.

No other reason.

Solution is for China to increase the number of its current force TEN TIMES, to avoid being distracted and divided by other conflicts that the Anglo-Japanese Alliance will NEXT initiate to weaken its forward forces at Diaoyudao, such as at the India-China border, at Xinjiang, at Tibet, at Korea and at the South China Sea, not to speak of Vietnam, Myanmar and creating trouble for its friends all around the world - these too need China's protection to survive.

On a per capita basis, on a per square mile basis, China's military size being ten times its present size is only keeping up, barely, with the equivalent militarization of its enemies, like Japan.  What Japan can do, China cannot do any less, because China has more enemies to defend against, and longer borders to protect.

China officially calls that Diaoyu Islands is one of her core interests. So to speak, it is so supreme as every inch of her other territory, i.e. TB, TW, etc, that she defends by all means.
