There you go again.

WHO HERE SAID CHINA SHOULD HAVE A WESTERN DEMOCRACY?

Do you have any idea how much money was needed for the infrastructures and built up town after town?

USA now has a 2 trillion dollar hole in infrastructure maintenance, just maintenance.

Again. Completely irrelevant.

Let's talk about the issues China face. The issues have nothing to do with the west, do they?

You are an idealist.

I don't believe equal society, unless the society is so rich that greediness becomes pointless, like several super-rich European countries.

In any other society, there will always be a small group of people on top of food chain, it can be government, it can be rich and big corps, it can be religion leaders.

At least in China, this small group of people are not as free as the correspondent group in West.

Ok, how do you want to solve it?

Most of corruptions in China are related to lands and infrastructure, and when growth rate drops below 4-5%, it will be almost gone.

Do you know what kind of corruptions will be long lasting?

Whether you are Chinese or not, you have no idea what Chinese people think.

Almost all Chinese can ...

The Chinese think the alternatives are no better? Except perhaps for the vested interest groups. If there are indeed alternatives in the first place, do you still believe the party will stay in power?

Corruption is rampant in China and is getting worse. If the current system can't at least alleviate the problem -- after so many "changes" and "reforms" -- people naturally hope for a real change.
