Whether you are Chinese or not, you have no idea what Chinese people think.

Almost all Chinese can ...

You are hilarious.

You take the same worn out & old argument i.e. them vs. us.

Why do you automatically assume that when someone makes comment about the huge corruption issues in China currently, they are calling for system change? And head down the road of: democratic systems have failed & let's make comparisons with the west. Black vs. White. Socialism vs. democracy. China against the West.

That is a BS argument and deflects away from the real issue.

The leadership, for more than 15 years, has stated very clearly that corruption is a major issue for the party & the country and that they will make huge efforts to tackle the issue. What Xi and others are saying now is no different to what Hu and Wen stated when they first  came to leadership power. Instead, corruption has got worse and worse over the years.

Recent measures have actually made it more difficult to know what assets officials hold. Transparency has gotten worse - in the same months that the new anti-corruption drive has been announced. Officials are worried about social media and their ability to track down officials wealth via public record. Many of those avenues, publicly available, are now blocked by measures implemented by central government - at a time they are promising more transparency & a crackdown on illegal graft.

Chinese people want to know when the government are actually going to get serious and tackle the corruption issue. The only stumbling block to their thinking is that they are so used to systemic corruption, and abuse of power at all government levels, they think there is no way that the central government can enforce local and provincial officials from toeing the line. What incentive is there for them - local & provincial - to get off the gravy train?

That is not true at all.

The west has a multi party democrazy. Even though it is almost impossibl ...

There are four kinds of powers (You are welcome to add)

(1) Power over natural resource.
(2) Power over capital.
(3) Power over information and public opinions.
(4) Power over individuals (the rich, media and journalists, the greedy, parasites, criminals, hardworking people)

Therefore, there is only one western democracy, that is, give the first two to the rich and big corps, give the third one to media and journalists.

The fourth one, government does have much less power over hardworking people, but at the same time, government loses power over the rich, media and journalists, the greedy, parasites, criminals.

Note, in China, people are the owners of natural resouce and capital. I think

You are missing the point.

1. Were that about China you would not be able to view it in China.

That doesn't matter, because westerners don't know anything other than what media puts on their tables.
