1: China successfully conducted docking of their own Space Station module. This is a giant leap in the manned spaceflight and militarization and control of space.

2: China finalizing their first stage of their very own GPS sat system - Beidou GPS system (15 sats), it will compete both commercially and militarialy with the current US GPS system. In addition, China and Russia are the only countries that don't need to rely of the current GPS system operated by US.

5: China Manned submersible  breaks the world record of diving down to 7000m (22600 feet) below surface. Significantly outclass the other records - this give china control and edge in seafloor mapping and mining.
