In 1936, KMT planned to fight against Japanese invasion after KMT would have defeated communist. KMT prefer benefits and interests of KMT itself rather than the benefits and interests of the whole Chinese.

In 1960s, KMT and Communist focused on fighting against each other. None of them fought against Japanese invasion in Diaoyu island.

Now, I think Party (gov) should pay more attention on threats from the outside, such as Japanese invasion, and less on threats from the inside.
